Doing an earthwork; a tractor removing the dirt in preparation for the road construction. Earthwork is one of the most important steps in the road construction because it establishes a stable foundation. Roads with a low-grade foundation will prematurely fail. Sta. Lucia Land, Inc. (SLLI) ensures a proper road preparation for well-built roads.

As of November 8, 2016

Laying and spreading the gravel; for the completion of the earthwork, it is a must to place standard layers on the road. Followed by moistening and compacting of each layer. Adding gravel layers will continue until the road bed reaches a designed height.

Road paving; the last part of the road construction. Concrete is being placed and flattened into steel molds. To prevent cracks, it is a must to cut concrete slabs – allowing the slabs to expand and contract as the temperature changes.
